Featured Favorite Writing Product #3: Five Star Spiral Notebooks

For the month of March, the favorite writing product is:

Five Star Spiral Notebooks

I write all of my books by hand, so quite naturally, I have a favorite notebook. That favorite notebook is the Five Star 1-Subject Spiral Notebook. My absolute favorite feature of this notebook is the pair of built-in pockets. I've created my own sheets that help me keep up with character information, locations, timelines, etc., so having the pockets built into the notebook I'm using really helps me keep up with all my sheets. The outlines, the notes, even the loose pages of additions I want to make to the document, they're all stored in the notebook's pockets.

I also love the extremely sturdy plastic covers on these notebooks. I write mostly at home, but occasionally, I write at work as well. I also get a bit of typing done at work, so having covers I can rely on to protect my handwritten work is a must. These covers do just that! They're waterproof, so spills roll right off of them. (Now, if it runs down the sides or pools underneath, you should be concerned because the back cover is made of thick cardboard.) And you know what? I've also never had to worry about the metal spiral snagging my clothes or coming out of the notebook!

I tend to use the 100-sheet notebooks because they typically have enough paper for me to write a 60k word book because my handwriting is pretty small. If it's ever not enough, which has been the case on a few occasions, I just write on some loose leaf and tuck them in the pocket.

These notebooks can be purchased individually or in packs. I like to buy the packs of six on Amazon because you come out cheaper in the long run.
